Family friendly private oasis, nestled in a quiet cove on the south end of Wedowee. Perfectly situated on a flat peninsula with grass to the water's edge. Enjoy breathtaking views from every room, while easily keeping an eye on kids. Multiple outdoor areas, perfect for lounging, dining, and stargazing. 5 bedrooms with expansive sleeping accommodation. Ask about chartered water-sports included with each night booked. Enjoy wakesurfing, wakeboarding, tubing or just cruising the lake.

Other Details to Note

Last mile to get to the house is a gravel/dirt road. We just upgraded to Starlink internet as of 10/7/22. Lake Wedowee water levels vary: Full pool May 1 - Oct 1 it will be down approximately 8 ft Jan - March 30 for shore management. The lake drops approx 1 ft per week from Oct 1 to Dec 1. April 1 the lake begins to fill approx 2 ft per week until full May 1. We don’t have a microwave. If bringing a boat we have a launch ramp adjacent to the house. We have contacts for childcare and also offer chartered watersports experiences. The main house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, bunk room is about detatched garage. We can rent only the main house for a discounted rate and it also reduces the cleaning fee. Please reach out if that is of interest.

No Parties. Shoe's off. Keep doors closed to minimize bugs getting in. If you bring a boat, stay 200’ from docks and other vessels. If within 200’ go idle speed. Please be courteous of neighbors docks.

What a great retreat with family and friends at at Wedowee Surf Ranch. This space is clean, beautiful and comfortably furnished. Our host was gracious, presented ample instruction, and answered any questions in a timely manner.
